Dakine wonder and Skateboarding

The first Dakine wonder backpack provided surfers with a sturdy and attractive carry-all, one that could facilitate transport of a surfboard. Since introduction of that first Dakine pack, it has served as the basis for numerous adaptations. Today, there seems to be a wonder backpack for any sport that calls for placement of the feet on some sort of board.

Today, a skateboarding enthusiast would have good reason to purchase and use a Dakine pack. A skateboarder could use one of the original wonder packs to carry his or her skateboard. Each pack comes with a set of attached straps. Those straps would allow a skateboarder to tie his or her board onto the pack, thus facilitating the transport of that board.

Now suppose that a skateboarder were planning to take a trip. Suppose that skateboarder longed to take along his or her skateboard. By obtaining and using a Dakine pack, a skateboarder could witness the realization of his or her wish.

Dakine packs contain a wealth of pockets. They were designed for surfers, especially those that must travel from home to the beach. Each Dakine pack gives any boarder lots of compartments for his or her personal items. In addition, each pack can hold a surfboard, a skateboard or a snowboard.

Recently, Dakine came out with a pack that was marketed as a pack that had been designed especially for snowboarders. In addition to the compulsory straps, it had a pocket into which a pair of goggles would fit nicely. Dakine realized that the typical snowboarder needs the eye protection provided by a pair of goggles.

It would be interesting to know whether or not Shaun White took a wonder pack to the Olympic Games in Vancouver. The interest in his chosen sport certainly spurred the thinking of those Dakine employees who are responsible for thinking up useful adaptations of the Dakine wonder backpack.
