Decorative Wedding Confetti

Although fun, weddings are a tiring time for a lot of couples. Everyone wants to be unique and creative in their own way but this can be an arduous task if you don’t have professional help. Choosing table centerpieces is something that couples find quite confusing, especially because everyone wants to break away from the traditional rut of flowers. Flowers can be combined with various types of wedding confetti though to create a look that is completely different.

You can use single stem flowers in combination with dry flowers and confetti. Now, wedding confetti is very different from traditional confetti. Wedding confetti is the name used for accompaniments to centerpieces that are strewn around the centerpiece to make it more complete. For a vintage theme wedding, this could mean loose, fake pearls or acrylic crystals.

Wedding table confetti is readily available at all wedding favor stores, online or offline. The range of confetti will be almost the same everywhere – mostly it includes pearls, crystals, diamonds and fresh or dried petals. You can make wedding confetti yourself too! For a fall wedding, use bits of crushed leaves yet for a beach wedding, you could use sand.

If you have hired a wedding planner, make sure you work with them to get the theme you want. Do not rely on store bought merchandise. Ideally, your wedding planner should be able to suggest something that is uncommon but doesn’t appear odd. A lot of couples plan vintage weddings. Now, creative confetti for vintage weddings is probably quite difficult to do. You can instead choose a unique centerpiece and place acrylic diamonds around it.

A final tip for using wedding confetti is to not clutter the table too much. Guests should still be able to chat and eat comfortably without things bouncing off the table. Make sure the confetti is child friendly too if you are inviting little guests.
