Glass Display cabinets Ideal for Your Crystals

I have this friend who is the operations director in a software company. Her work takes her to different places all over the world. She is in the habit of collecting Swarovski crystal souvenir pieces which are specific to the place she has visited.  Like for example during a visit to Paris, she picked up the crystal miniature of Eiffel tower.

So when I visited her home during last weekend for breakfast, I found her in the study room with boxes of various sizes open all around her. She was trying to catalogue the various pieces that she had.  These crystal objects were so beautiful; it was being wasted lying wrapped in boxes. So the weekend project was to find the best way to put them up in display.

We did not have to think far, for choice was very obvious and clear. We needed to buy cabinets with glass which would allow the inside objects to be displayed. A quick run through the internet gave us a lot of information and product display.  We first identified the nearest place where these glass cabinets were available and could be picked up readily off the shelf. We found that the wholesalers could deliver the entire CKD sets meaning the shelf in knocked down condition. We had to assemble the shelf using the instructions given. This was getting more interesting.

We first decided the spot where the glass cabinet could be placed and then went on to imagine how the display looked like during day time. We found that the best way to display crystals was to have soft light inside the glass cabinet just like how the showrooms display jewelry, diamonds etc.

The rest of the finalizing happened quickly. We chose the color and texture of the cabinet online and looked for the right one with lock and keys. We also managed to get a three year warranty with fifteen percent discount from the list price. Immediately after making payment online, we set out to pick up the kit for we did not want to wait for the delivery and were looking forward to building our own glass display cabinet.
